Pete has taken all of his experience and combined it with the latest research on weight loss: the result is his 3 Step System and Pete will explain it to you on Saturday 11th October.
The approach is simple: it’s about changing the way you eat, becoming more active and learning how to control your behaviour. The result is a process that helps you change your relationship with food forever. You will learn to see food as a valuable source of energy and not as something that you turn to when you don’t know what else to do. The Sort Your Life Out Weight Loss System is about respecting yourself and having the vitality and the body that you deserve.
Step 1: Diets do not work in the long-term. They tell you what to eat and when to eat it and, most of all they tell you what you can’t have – and that’s no fun at all! So it’s important that first of all you understand the Sort Your Life Out approach.
The key to a permanently slimmer and fitter body is learning how to manage your emotions. Most people are out of balance with their diet: they switch between extremes of denial and indulgence. This destructive cycle leads to emotional upset and more comfort eating. It just doesn’t make sense.
Pete will help you to beat this cycle once and for all. He will show you how to listen to what your body wants and when it wants it. Once you realise that you can balance your behaviour then half way to successful weight loss. Better still, you’re ready to move to Step 2.
Step 2: This is about arming yourself with the tools you need to stay motivated and on track - the good news is that you already have these. You may think that you’re lazy and that you don’t know how to be focused - but you do! Every one of us is motivated - really we are! People who successfully lose weight are motivated to be active and eat sensibly and people who aren’t as successful are motivated to overeat and be inactive. You have the motivation - you just need Pete to guide you to focus it on the right things.
Step 3: In Step 3, Pete motivates you to create healthy habits. He will help you to change your behaviour for 21 days.
Why 21 days? Well, because when you do something for 21 consecutive days, it becomes a habit. So, whilst it may take you longer than three weeks to shed all your unwanted pounds, once you’ve completed this step you’ll find that you want to be active and you want to eat nourishing, healthy food. You’ll be in control of your emotions and cravings will be a thing of the past. These habits will come naturally to you and you won’t have to think about them ever again.
